Documentation/lessons: Tidy up lesson 2

- The link to create an account is now "Sign in" and not "Register"
- Use monospace formatting for terminal commands and file names
- Properly escape less-than and greater-than
- Correct the 'make lint' example command
- Reformat example commit messages
- Add formatting for website links
- Other whitespace fixes
