arch/x86: Fix issues with braces detected by checkpatch
Fix the following errors and warnings detected by checkpatch.pl:
ERROR: open brace '{' following function declarations go on the next line
ERROR: that open brace { should be on the previous line
ERROR: else should follow close brace '}'
WARNING: braces {} are not necessary for any arm of this statement
WARNING: braces {} are not necessary for single statement blocks
TEST=Build and run on Galileo Gen2
