2015-03-30x86: fix SMM programs linked with gc-sectionsAaron Durbin
Commit f69a99db (coreboot: x86: enable gc-sections) added gc-sections to the linker command line. The SMM-specific linker scripts were not interrogated to see if all the sections were being included properly. .data, .bss, and .sbss did not have the proper globs set to put the SMM programs in the expected order. Lastly, explicitly set the ENTRY for the SMM programs. 2015-03-30Update hex values to CBFS binary name types in MakefilesMartin Roth
These binaries were being added to CBFS using hexadecimal values instead of the CBFS binary type names. The same value was being used in different places for different things. For example, the value 0xAB is used for SPDs, MRC & FSP binaries. This patch uses CBFS type names instead of hex values everywhere a hex value was previously used. 2015-03-30cbfstool: add filetypes for FSP, MRC, SPC and MRC_CACHEMartin Roth
This adds a few new file types to cbfstool. Currently these files are being added using bare hex values in the coreboot makefiles. This patch is just to make the values official and to help get rid of some confusion in the values used within the makefiles. All of these new types are roughly equivalent to raw. Low level 64 bit division and modulo functions are not available for MIPS platforms, but are required by the printk formatter. Modify the code to avoid 64 bit math when building for MIPS. In case the user does print a value exceeding 2^32, send a few junk characters to the output to indicate a corrupted value printed. The mips Makefile was inherited from x86 and so included lots of stuff that is necessary on x86 but nowhere else. That cruft is now gone. It also adopts the non-x86 approach of handling linker scripts, hardcoding an include to ldoptions there, instead of manual concatenation (of just one file plus options).
