2019-01-10amdfam10 boards: Simplify early resourcemapKyösti Mälkki
Purpose of the table is to load initial address maps on PCI function 0:18.1. Provide a macro of its own so it is clear no other PCI devfn is accessed here. 2019-01-06Kconfig: Unify power-after-failure optionsNico Huber
The newest and most useful incarnation was hiding in soc/intel/common/. We move it into the Mainboard menu and extend it with various flags to be selected to control the default and which options are visible. Also add a new `int` config MAINBOARD_POWER_FAILURE_STATE that moves the boolean to int conversion into Kconfig: 0 - S5 1 - S0 2 - previous state This patch focuses on the Kconfig code. The C code could be unified as well, e.g. starting with a common enum and safe wrapper around the get_option() call. TEST=Did what-jenkins-does with and without this commit and compared binaries. Nothing changed for the default configurations. 2017-06-08device/Kconfig: Put gfx init methods into a `choice`Nico Huber
Provide all gfx init methods as a Kconfig `choice`. This elimates the option to select native gfx init along with running a Video BIOS. It's been only theoretically useful in one corner case: Hybrid graphics where only one controller is supported by native gfx init. Though I suppose in that case it's fair to assume that one would use SeaBIOS to run the VBIOS. For the case that we want the payload to initialize graphics or no pre-boot graphics at all, the new symbol NO_GFX_INIT was added to the choice. If multiple options are available, the default is chosen as follows: * NO_GFX_INIT, if we add a Video BIOS and the payload is SeaBIOS, * VGA_ROM_RUN, if we add a Video BIOS and the payload is not SeaBIOS, * NATIVE_VGA_INIT, if we don't add a Video BIOS. As a side effect, libgfxinit is now an independent choice. 2016-10-02Kconfig: Update default hex values to start with 0xMartin Roth
Kconfig hex values don't need to be in quotes, and should start with '0x'. If the default value isn't set this way, Kconfig will add the 0x to the start, and the entry can be added unnecessarily to the defconfig since it's "different" than what was set by the default. A check for this has been added to the Kconfig lint tool. 2016-08-17mainboard: Clean up boot_option/reboot_bits in cmos.layoutNico Huber
Since commit 3bfd7cc (drivers/pc80: Rework normal / fallback selector code) the reboot counter stored in `reboot_bits` isn't reset on a reboot with `boot_option = 1` any more. Hence, with SKIP_MAX_REBOOT_CNT_CLEAR enabled, later stages (e.g. payload, OS) have to clear the counter too, when they want to switch to normal boot. So change the bits to (h)ex instead of (r)eserved. To clarify their meaning, rename `reboot_bits` to `reboot_counter`. Also remove all occurences of the obsolete `last_boot` bit that have sneaked in again since 24391321 (mainboard: Remove last_boot NVRAM option).
