2020-03-18mainboard/[a-f]*: Remove copyright noticesPatrick Georgi
They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example: - What's a "Copyright $year-present"? - Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current copyright holder? - People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even though they only deleted stuff - Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year, because why not? - Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"? - Or "Generated Code"? Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead and use the git history to deal with the rest. 2019-06-06sb/intel/i82801gx: Detect if the southbridge supports AHCIArthur Heymans
This automatically detects whether the southbridge supports AHCI. If AHCI support is selected it will be used unless "sata_no_ahci" is set in the devicetree to override the behavior. 2019-06-05mb/*/devicetree.cb: Remove unavailable PCIe portsArthur Heymans
Some variants only support 4 PCIe ports so there is no need to have those unavailable ports in the devicetree. 2019-01-10mb/foxconn/g41s-k: Add g41m variantArthur Heymans
Was tested with the following: - 2 DIMM slots - USB - Ethernet NIC - automatic fan control - Libgfxinit with VGA, DVI (HDMI slot unpopulated) - PS2 Keyboard - SATA - PEG - S3 resume What does not work: - Using the second DIMM slot on a channel G41 can only handle 2 ranks per channel and on this mainboard 1 rank per DIMM slot. Supporting this would require too much raminit rework and is not worth it (at least for me) Change-Id: I67784038ef929f561b82365f00db70a69c024321 Signed-off-by: Arthur Heymans <arthur@aheymans.xyz> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/c/30242 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org> Reviewed-by: Angel Pons <th3fanbus@gmail.com>

2018-11-12mb/*/*: Harmonise FD and devicetree on boards featuring ICH7Arthur Heymans
On some boards the devicetree and Function Disable register did not match. In this case the FD values are put in the devicetree as these were the values that were actually used in practice. A complete devicetree will make it easier to automatically disable devices in ramstage. 2017-10-22superio/ite/common: Add temperature offsetVagiz Trakhanov
Add a devicetree option to set temperature adjustment registers required for thermal diode sensors and PECI. However, this commit does not have the code needed to make PECI interface actually use these registers. It only applies to diodes. As a temporary workaround, one can set both THERMAL_DIODE and peci_tmpin to the same TMPIN, e.g. TMPIN3.mode="THERMAL_DIODE" and peci_tmpin="3". PECI, apparently, takes precedence over diode, so the adjustment register will be set and PECI activated. Or simply use the followup patch, which makes THERMAL_PECI a mode like THERMAL_DIODE. I don't have hardware to test THERMAL_DIODE mode, but in case of PECI, without this patch I had about -60°C on idle. Now, with offset 97, which was taken from vendor bios, PECI readings became reasonable 35°C. TEST=Set a temperature offset, then ensure that the value you set is reflected in /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon*/temp[1-3]_offset Change-Id: Ibce6809ca86b6c7c0c696676e309665fc57965d4 Signed-off-by: Vagiz Tarkhanov <rakkin@autistici.org> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/21843 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org> Reviewed-by: Nico Huber <nico.h@gmx.de>
