2019-01-14AGESA/PI: replace HUDSON_DISABLE_IMC with HUDSON_IMC_ENABLEMike Banon
Only a few boards are using IMC for the onboard fan control, so regarding the availability of IMC selection it should be opt-in, not opt-out. Also, select HUDSON_IMC_ENABLE for Gizmo 2 because Gizmo 2 could use IMC for the onboard fan control. 2018-09-26src/mainboard/pcengines/apu2/Kconfig: Clean up PINMUX settingsMichał Żygowski
Configuration of pins exposed by superIO are inconsistent between board variants. Each platform should have UARTs enabled, this is expected behaviour of these pins. Given that APU2_PINMUX_UART_x can be set for all boards as default. 2017-12-21pcengines/apu2: add support for apu4 variantPiotr Król
apu4 is new version of PC Engines platform, which contains 4 Ethernet ports and 4GB of RAM. In functional way it is very similar to apu3. Platform tested with booting Linux voyage (kernel 3.16.7) using USB and SeaBIOS as 1st stage and GRUB as 2nd stage bootloader. Also Debian (kernel 4.8.5) using iPXE. 2017-10-20mainboard/pcengines/apu2: add apu3 and apu5 variantsKamil Wcislo
Apu3 and apu5 are additional variants of apu2 board. Apu3 has no LPC connector exposed, but has additional USB header. It has also 2 slots for SIM cards and one of the gpios is used to control switching between them. Apu5 is differing by having 6 SIM card slots (3 SIMSWAP switches). This patch adds support for those other variants by not introducing additional code redundancy. 2017-08-02binaryPI: Introduce BINARYPI_LEGACY_WRAPPER and its counterpartKyösti Mälkki
We define BINARYPI_LEGACY_WRAPPER a method of calling AGESA via functions in agesawrapper.c file. The approach implemented there makes it very inconvenient to do board-specific customisation or present common platform-specific features. Seems like it also causes assertion errors on AGESA side. The flag is applied here to all boards and then individually removed one at a time, as things get tested. New method is not to call AGESA internal functions directly, but via the dispatcher. AGESA call parameters are routed to hooks in both platform and board -directories, to allow for easy capture or modification as needed. For each AGESA dispatcher call made, eventlog entries are replayed to the console log. Also relocations of AGESA heap that took place are recorded. New method is expected to be compatible with binaryPI. 2016-12-19pcengines/apu2: add board supportPiotr Król
Initial work based on db-ft3b-ls and code released by Eltan. Board boots with some limitation. Now the AGESA binary is harcoded and board specific until it's fixed by the SoC vendor. memtest86+ from external repo skips looking for SPD on SMBus, which when performed cause memtest86+ to hang. Still didn't tried whole test suit. SeaBIOS 1.9.3 have some problems with USB which lead to no booting in some cases. Full log: https://gist.github.com/pietrushnic/787cbf63f610ff4f6b4ac13e5c20b872 SeaBIOS from PC Engines repository (https://github.com/pcengines/seabios) works fine. Those changes are planned for upstream.
