Now that we can build the Beagleboard NOR image without the custom build scripts, let's remove them since they are outdated and out of sync with each other. Remove readme.txt as well: it is also outdated, and mostly covers QEMU and how to build Linaro SD images, which may not be relevant to most users. 2015-08-12BeagleBoardPkg: fold configuration header into FD buildArd Biesheuvel
Since the configuration header never changes unless the board parameters in ConfigurationHeader.dat are updated, we can take a snapshot of the binary and add it to the FDF definition. This way, it will get emitted by the EDK2 build system instead of having to use a separate post-processing tool to add it to the flash image. 2013-08-30ARM Package: Increase FV file size for some EDK2 firmwareOlivier Martin
GCC47 generates bigger binaries in Debug build than GCC46. This large increase is considered as a regression. It will require some investigation to understand the reason of this increase in size. This NULL implementation should not affect the existing code flow and avoid the builds to be broken by a missing dependency. In a longer term, an implementation of CpuExceptionHandlerLib should be provided for ARM architecture. the path 'arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc' is the compiler attached to the ARMLINUXGCC toolchain. This compiler is available in the PATH environment variable when the Linaro's toolchain package is installed (Ubuntu distribution). If if compiler is in the path then select the ARMLINUXGCC toolchain.
