From d857faf073895dcfde97141bd6346fe5d4317f8e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Lisa Hsu Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2008 21:57:07 -0500 Subject: Add in Context IDs to the simulator. From now on, cpuId is almost never used, the primary identifier for a hardware context should be contextId(). The concept of threads within a CPU remains, in the form of threadId() because sometimes you need to know which context within a cpu to manipulate. --- src/cpu/thread_context.cc | 7 +++++++ 1 file changed, 7 insertions(+) (limited to 'src/cpu/thread_context.cc') diff --git a/src/cpu/thread_context.cc b/src/cpu/thread_context.cc index 58912c564..ab105a435 100644 --- a/src/cpu/thread_context.cc +++ b/src/cpu/thread_context.cc @@ -78,4 +78,11 @@ ThreadContext::compare(ThreadContext *one, ThreadContext *two) int id2 = two->cpuId(); if (id1 != id2) panic("CPU ids don't match, one: %d, two: %d", id1, id2); + + id1 = one->contextId(); + id2 = two->contextId(); + if (id1 != id2) + panic("Context ids don't match, one: %d, two: %d", id1, id2); + + } -- cgit v1.2.3
