From f32f372455c99bf5765f5fda3efc7da180dfcda8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Andreas Sandberg Date: Mon, 7 Jan 2013 13:05:33 -0500 Subject: tests: Create base classes to encapsulate common test configurations Most of the test cases currently contain a large amount of duplicated boiler plate code. This changeset introduces a set of classes that encapsulates most of the functionality when setting up a test configuration. The following base classes are introduced: * BaseSystem - Basic system configuration that can be used for both SE and FS simulation. * BaseFSSystem - Basic FS configuration uni-processor and multi-processor configurations. * BaseFSSystemUniprocessor - Basic FS configuration for uni-processor configurations. This is provided as a way to make existing test cases backwards compatible. Architecture specific implementations are provided for ARM, Alpha, and X86. --- tests/configs/alpha_generic.py | 93 ++++++++++++++ tests/configs/arm_generic.py | 95 +++++++++++++++ tests/configs/base_config.py | 175 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ tests/configs/pc-o3-timing.py | 53 +++----- tests/configs/pc-simple-atomic.py | 53 +++----- tests/configs/pc-simple-timing.py | 52 +++----- tests/configs/realview-o3-checker.py | 42 ++----- tests/configs/realview-o3-dual.py | 52 +++----- tests/configs/realview-o3.py | 46 +++---- tests/configs/realview-simple-atomic-dual.py | 52 +++----- tests/configs/realview-simple-atomic.py | 45 +++---- tests/configs/realview-simple-timing-dual.py | 52 +++----- tests/configs/realview-simple-timing.py | 46 +++---- tests/configs/tsunami-inorder.py | 49 +++----- tests/configs/tsunami-o3-dual.py | 51 +++----- tests/configs/tsunami-o3.py | 46 +++---- tests/configs/tsunami-simple-atomic-dual.py | 49 +++----- tests/configs/tsunami-simple-atomic.py | 46 +++---- tests/configs/tsunami-simple-timing-dual.py | 51 +++----- tests/configs/tsunami-simple-timing.py | 46 +++---- tests/configs/x86_generic.py | 108 +++++++++++++++++ 21 files changed, 702 insertions(+), 600 deletions(-) create mode 100644 tests/configs/alpha_generic.py create mode 100644 tests/configs/arm_generic.py create mode 100644 tests/configs/base_config.py create mode 100644 tests/configs/x86_generic.py (limited to 'tests/configs') diff --git a/tests/configs/alpha_generic.py b/tests/configs/alpha_generic.py new file mode 100644 index 000000000..429f4faba --- /dev/null +++ b/tests/configs/alpha_generic.py @@ -0,0 +1,93 @@ +# Copyright (c) 2012 ARM Limited +# All rights reserved. +# +# The license below extends only to copyright in the software and shall +# not be construed as granting a license to any other intellectual +# property including but not limited to intellectual property relating +# to a hardware implementation of the functionality of the software +# licensed hereunder.
