2018-08-10Add proxy for syscall timeRyan Harrison
This CL adds a proxy, FXSYS_time, for the time syscall, so that a testing mechanism can be implemented. Specically there is now a flag for pdfium_test, --time=, that allows setting the time since the epoch that will be returned. This plumbed all the way down into the proxy and allows for stable results for tests that depend on getting the current time. There are other places in the code base that will need to be patched like this, that will be dealt with in follow on CLs. 2018-05-14Use internal wcstof instead of system wcstod in formcalc lexerDan Sinclair
This CL switches the usage of wcstod to use the FXSYS_wcstof to determine if a given string is a valid floating point number. Using the internal method makes linux slightly slower (10's of ms) makes mac a lot faster 900ms to 60ms for the test case in the bug. The FXSYS_wcstof method has been extended to handle the parsing of float exponents. Unittests were added for FXSYS_wcstof. There are currently three ways to assert in the code (ASSERT, FXSYS_assert and assert). This CL standardizes on ASSERT. The benefit of ASSERT is that it can be overridden if the platform requies and we can pickup the Chromium version if it has already been defined in the build. This does change behaviour. Currently FXSYS_assert is always defined but ASSERT is only defined in debug builds. So, the FXSYS_assert's would fire in Release builds. That will no longer happen.
