2018-04-11Fix crash when ColorSpace references itself directly.Henrique Nakashima
Also fixes any problems with cycles between colorspaces. Past fixes have solved problems with CPDF_DocPageData::GetColorSpace() calling itself and CPDF_DocPageData::GetColorSpace() calling CPDF_ColorSpace::Load() and vice versa. They have not solved CPDF_ColorSpace::Load() calling itself. This CL repurposes the |pVisited| set to ensure CPDF_ColorSpace::Load() does not try to load a colorspace as a dependency of itself and creates |pVisitedLocal| to ensure CPDF_DocPageData::GetColorSpace() does not create a similar circular dependency not involving CPDF_ColorSpace::Load(). Currently, when constructing AP for multi-line markup annotations, we only take into account the first set of quadpoints, resulting in only the first line of the annotation being displayed if the annotation spans multiple lines. 2018-03-12Add test that non-ASCII characters to not foul hyphen processingRyan Harrison
In this doc there is a hyphen followed a fi ligature. Older versions of PDFium were not inserting the appropriate soft hyphen marker (0x0002) at this point, since they were only checking for ASCII characters. That bug is fixed in the preceding CLs, so this test is being added to avoid regressions. This removes the need for them to have their own runner. Due to other upstream changes some of the expectation files needed to be updated. The suppressions have been updated to make sure the tests do not run for non-XFA builds. Having these tests run on the bots surfaced an MSAN issue in the XFA code, which is fixed in this CL. This caused the calculation to not be performed as the fields could not be found. This adds a number of {{}} style tags to the .in format that allow the fix-up script to inject XFA related boilerplate into the PDF, instead of having the .in file replicate this. A simple example XFA .in file, called xfa_example.in has been added as a template for future files to follow. Finally a run_xfa_tests.py has been added for executing all of the tests in testing/resources/xfa, which from what I can tell are not executed any other way. All of the existing PDFs in that directory are currently suppressed. 2017-11-30Rewrite lower level details of extracting text from pageRyan Harrison
The current implementation of text extraction was difficult to understand, duplicated logic that existed in other methods, and wasn't clear about the units the inputs were in. It also didn't handle control characters correctly. The new implementation leans on the methods for converting indices between the text buffer index and character list index spaces to avoid duplication of code. It also makes it clear to the reader that inputs are in the character list index space. Finally, it fixes issues being seen in Chrome with respect of ranges being slightly off. This CL also adds a test for extracting text that has control characters. There was a regression due to a refactor, where the public API was no longer removing soft hyphens for line broken words. This was causing issues with find and copy/paste operations that depend on selecting a region of text. This change is covered by FPDFTextEmbeddertest.GetTextWithHyphen. FPDFTextEmbeddertest.bug_782596 is a regression test for a bug that was introduced by the original fix. It only fails when running the test under ASAN. 2017-09-13Change behaviour of FPDF_RenderPageBitmapWithMatrixNicolas Pena
This CL changes the behavior of FPDF_RenderPageBitmapWithMatrix so it transforms the bitmap. Before, the page would be transformed and the assumption was that it would be drawn on a bitmap with the same dimensions as the original page. This does not work well because a transformation generally changes the dimensions of the page. The rectangles test is modified to include small rectangles in the corner of the page, so that it's clear that the whole original page is being displayed. To test this method more thoroughly, text_form_multiple.pdf has been added, which is similar to text_form.pdf, but includes a read-only text field.
