2018-05-03[xfa] Verify we can get a font manager before setting up XFADan Sinclair
When setting up an XFA document we need to create a font manager. That font manager requires the CFGAS_FontMgr to be provided, and ASSERTs to that fact. It's possible for the CFGAS_FontMgr to be nullptr if we fail to enumerate the system fonts. This CL verifys we can get the needed manager and fails out of the XFA OpenDoc method if we have no font manager. 2018-05-02Cleanup XFA document properly on failed loadDan Sinclair
When we fail to parse an XFA document we would free the XML document that is created immediately. This causes issues because the XML nodes may have been set into the CXFA_Document already. This CL changes ParseDoc to always save the XMLDocument and then triggers the CloseDoc() logic if the ParseDoc method fails. This should properly cleanup any resources on a failed document load. This CL adds a CFX_XMLDocument to act as the XML node container. All nodes are now owned by the document and the document is returned by the CFX_XMLParser. Classes which parse XML files now store the document instead of the root node. 2017-10-17Convert XFA Doc Types to be more preciseRyan Harrison
The existing types are PDF, Dynamic & Static, which are poorly named since they don't really convey the fundamental differences between the types. "PDF" is confusing because PDFium only handles PDFs, and "Dynamic" & "Static" describe what a form may do, not how it is specified or some other fundamental difference. The terms "Dynamic" and "Static" were especially confusing, since XFAF documents must be static by definition, whereas full XFA documents can be either dynamic or static, depending on whether or not they change their layout. The types have been renamed to be clear that they are talking about the type of PDF document being described. "PDF" becomes "None", since this is used to indicate that there are no XFA forms in the document. "Dynamic" becomes "Full", since this indicates that the entire XFA spec is being used for the forms, specifically display layout is in the XML. "Static" has become "ForegroundOnly", since the form is specified using the XFAF (XFA Foreground) subset of the spec. The terms Full & Foreground come from the XFA spec. I would have preferred XFAF to have a different name, since it is the display/foreground layer that isn't XFA when using it. PDFium doesn't strip BOMs during parsing, but we should strip BOMs when retrieving parsed strings in CPDF_NameTree to ensure consistency and appropriate function behavior. See the bug for more info. As outlined in Bug=pdfium:593, the solution is to call GetUnicodeText() instead of GetString(). I added a GetUnicodeTextAt() function in CPDF_Array, which is symmetrical to GetUnicodeTextFor() in CPDF_Dictionary. I then changed the input variable types to CPDF_NameTree functions to be CFX_WideString instead of CFX_ByteString, and modified all the calls to them. I also added a unit test for nametree, which would fail prior to this change. Nametrees with non-unicode names are already tested by embedder tests. 2017-05-16Introduce CFX_UnownedPtr to detect lifetime inversion issues.Tom Sepez
There are places where an object "child" has a raw pointer back to object "owner" with the understanding that owner will always outlive child. Violating this constraint can lead to use after free, but this requires finding two paths: one that frees the objects in the wrong order, and one that uses the object after the free. The purpose of this patch is to detect the constraint violation even when the second path is not hit. We create a template that is used in place of TYPE*. It's dtor, when a memory tool is present, goes out and probes the first byte of the object to which it points. Used in "child", this allows the memory tool to prove that the "owner" is still alive at the time the child is destroyed, and hence the constraint is never violated. 2017-04-05Move XML attribute handling to a base class.Dan Sinclair
This CL moves the attribute handling out of CFDE_XMLElement and CFDE_XMLInstruction into a common CFDE_XMLAttributeNode. The handling is also converted to a std::map from either a) a vector storing name, value, name, value or b) two vectors one for names and the other for values. The unused Get/Set methods for interger and float are removed and the iteration is converted to use iterators.
