2017-10-25Add in depth check for ToJavascript and related methodsRyan Harrison
There exists a similar check for the parser, but it doesn't catch all cases of excessive memory usage, since a single parse step can generate multiple expressions that need to be converted or other cases where the parse depth doesn't match the emission depth later. Due to the expressions appearing in two different inheritence hierachies the depth information needs to be stored outside of the classes, thus the new depth class. Another way to handle this would be to change the method calls to take in a visitor object that tracks depth. This would require significant reworking of some of the code, so I am going to file a bug about doing that conversion as a cleanup. 2017-10-18Refactor HasXFAField into HasFormInfoRyan Harrison
The existing API is too restrictive for collection the metrics information that we want. Specifically it only tells us if there are XFA forms in the document, but not AcroForms. This refactoring makes the method more general, so that non-XFA information is provided also. This change in semantics of the return value required some changes at the call sites of the API. 2017-10-17Convert XFA Doc Types to be more preciseRyan Harrison
The existing types are PDF, Dynamic & Static, which are poorly named since they don't really convey the fundamental differences between the types. "PDF" is confusing because PDFium only handles PDFs, and "Dynamic" & "Static" describe what a form may do, not how it is specified or some other fundamental difference. The terms "Dynamic" and "Static" were especially confusing, since XFAF documents must be static by definition, whereas full XFA documents can be either dynamic or static, depending on whether or not they change their layout. The types have been renamed to be clear that they are talking about the type of PDF document being described. "PDF" becomes "None", since this is used to indicate that there are no XFA forms in the document. "Dynamic" becomes "Full", since this indicates that the entire XFA spec is being used for the forms, specifically display layout is in the XML. "Static" has become "ForegroundOnly", since the form is specified using the XFAF (XFA Foreground) subset of the spec. The terms Full & Foreground come from the XFA spec. I would have preferred XFAF to have a different name, since it is the display/foreground layer that isn't XFA when using it. 2017-09-22Fix crash when rendering invalid GIFRyan Harrison
The core fix in this CL is a change to how LWZ decompression works, so that when the min code table size and the color palette size are different, color codes after the end of the defined color palette are considered errors. This CL also introduces a bunch of tweaks to the call return path, since there were multiple locations where the GIF decode failing status was being dropped on the floor, so the end widget would have a bitmap with the default colour in it, instead of nothing. Change the underlying type for FX_STRSIZE to size_t from int. This will make the value unsigned and thus all values in the range of the type will be valid. This allows for the final remove of negative length strings, but also introduces a some casting and functional errors, since many parts of the code base assume that FX_STRSIZE is int or another signed type. Mid(foo, 1) is equivalent to [foo], if all you want is the character. Similarly Left(1) is [0]. It is faster also, since it does not need to create intermediate strings. Right(1) is a touch more tricky, since it requires something like GetLength() ? [GetLength() - 1] : 0;. A new method, Last() has been added to perform this character extraction. Multiple call sites have been updated to use more efficient/simpler syntax. There are a number of call sites that use on these patterns, but based on the surrounding context we actually need/want a string, so they have not been modified. 2017-08-30Convert int* references to FX_STRSIZERyan Harrison
Through out the code base there are numerous places where variables are declared using a signed integer type when interacting with the string classes, since they assume that FX_STRSIZE is 'int'. As part of changing the underling type of FX_STRSIZE to be unsigned, these locations are being changed to use FX_STRSIZE. This is necessary as part of converting the type, but has been broken off into a separate CL, since it should be low risk. Some related cleanups that are low risk are included as part of this CL. 2017-08-23Convert string Find methods to return an OptionalRyan Harrison
The Find and ReverseFind methods for WideString, WideStringC, ByteString, and ByteStringC have been converted from returning a raw FX_STRSIZE, to returning Optional<FX_STRSIZE>, so that success/failure can be indicated without using FX_STRNPOS. This allows for removing FX_STRNPOS and by association makes the conversion of FX_STRSIZE to size_t easier, since it forces checking the return value of Find to be explictly done as well as taking the error value out of the range of FX_STRSIZE. New Contains methods have been added for cases where the success or failure is all the call site to Find cared about, and the actual position was ignored. 2017-08-22Converted CFX_Matrix::TransformRect() to take in constsJane Liu
Currently, all three of CFX_Matrix::TransformRect() take in rect values and modify them in place. This CL converts them to take in constant values and return the transformed values instead, and fixes all the call sites.
