2019-04-28mem: Minimize the use of MemObject.Gabe Black
MemObject doesn't provide anything beyond its base ClockedObject any more, so this change removes it from most inheritance hierarchies. Occasionally MemObject is replaced with SimObject when I was fairly confident that the extra functionality of ClockedObject wasn't needed. 2019-02-12python: Don't assume SimObjects live in the global namespaceAndreas Sandberg
The importer in Python 3 doesn't like the way we import SimObjects from the global namespace. Convert the existing SimObject declarations to import from m5.objects. As a side-effect, this makes these files consistent with configuration files. 2017-02-09misc: add a MasterId to the ExternalPortChristian Menard
The Request constructor requires a MasterID. However, an external transactor has no chance of getting a MasterID as it does not have a pointer to the System. This patch adds a MasterID to ExternalMaster to allow external modules to easily genrerate new Requests. Signed-off-by: Jason Lowe-Power <jason@lowepower.com>
2014-10-16mem: Add ExternalMaster and ExternalSlave portsAndrew Bardsley
This patch adds two MemoryObject's: ExternalMaster and ExternalSlave. Each object has a single port which can be bound to an externally- provided bridge to a port of another simulation system at initialisation.
